Well.... it's time for our new tee. Wanna thank all of you who handed in your proposal. it was very well done.:) After today's mini dicussion, we've decided that..

Anna and Xuemin are in the midst of finalising the design of the tee!:)

It's the start of the new term. I hope you guys are coping well. All i wanna say is that keep to the flame for RnE burning. It may be tough whilst coping for school work, tuition, etcetc. But strive on.:) Plese don't give up. Well, i know that some of you think that RNE duty is a chore. But really, see it from a different light. Take on a positive attitude. Be happy that you can serve the school and be in council, where there are people who really want to be in council. Stay happy, be happy. The more you think RnE duty is a chore, the more boring it'll get. Take this opportunity to bond wih the fellow RnE members. Yup. The duty list will soon change as soon as the sec1s come in. So, talk and mingle with the rest! :)

Hey RnE! There will be some slight changes over here and there. Basically for recess duty, RnE Sec 2s only have to open on Monday, Thursday and Friday! :) -RnE sec 2s rejoices- So basically most RnE sec 2s will be doing only 2 duties yea. Other councillors have around 2 recess duties too, so it's fair yea :)

On Friday after school, the duty will most probably be scraped off, and manpower will be put somewhere else. Guys especially Sec 3s, please learn as much as you can from your seniors k? Sec 4s won't be doing duty soon, so please learn quickly ah!

We can't get back air-conditioners, BUT we can get a standing fan. A standing fan should be able to replace the air-conditioners, however, after this year Sec 3s take over, you guys can try to get the air-cons back yea!

Anw, I'm still trying to get the floats, sundaes and waffles back, just to update you guys. The commtee is coming in as well soon. So wait yea! I know the comm tee thingy has been delayed for months, really sorry about that x.x

Jiayou guys okay, I know RnE is a very busy comm, compared to other comms RnE is quite hard to manage etc, so please support Danielle and me, and jiayou alright? this year will definitely be a better year! (:

OKAY FINALLY THE RNE TEE IS DONE!

Sorry for the 1 day delay, I spent quite a few hours editing it, trying to change the colours and stuffs like that. I thought that the RnE tee would look nicer with a black background because our design has light bulb etc, so I changed it. Thanks to Sarah for drawing the new head as well as a new cone. (: Opinions please (: Erm colours wise, we try to reduce it, so it won't cost so much yea :D

There is a small change in design in the back of RnE shirt, instead of having 'Mr/Ms Student Council', we'll be changing it to only 'Student Council'. Chen Laoshi said that our design looks way more compact now (yay! :D) Okay, so this is the final design (there's no changes to the front part of shirt btw, only the back).

Hey RnE-ians! :D This is the edited copy of RnE tee design, please have a look. It was kinda delayed cuz I was helping out with some outside camp stuffs for these past few days, so sorry about that D: Erm, roughly the colours should be something like that as shown below, it's quite a lot of colours actually, and considering the big print 'Mr Student Council', it should be quite expensive. So, please give comments on how this design can be improved, preferably by tonight so I can send the finalised file to the teachers. It'll be good if we take away colours rather than adding more colours cuz it already has quite a number of colours on the shirt. Yup (:

Hey RnE! Okay because of a few problems encountered here and there, we will have to change the design of our RnE tee. The reason why RnE tee isn't produced after so long is cuz of quite a few requests made by the supplier and after which, teachers objections.

So after quite a rush brainstorming session with the other RnE sec 3s, we've came up with this design, credits to Wendy who thought of most of the design and who drew it.

Hope that you guys won't complain much regarding the design or the delay, cuz the supplier that we're ordering from can give us super cheap rates, but there are a few editings to the picture that I have to do, resulting in the delay. The rest of the Sec3s have put in much effort to think of the design as well.

Okay, for the design, on why it was rejected, 1st thing : Domo has no link to RnE at all. 2nd thing: Teachers don't want RnE to be depicted as ice-cream only. 3rd thing : The cool design at the back has no link to RnE as well. So haha though I was kinda told off by teachers, but ah well. Okay so below is the design, please take a look. The words 'Student Council' and 'Anglican High School' are inside because they are compulsory. Heard that Welfare didn't put the word 'Anglican High School' in but they had already printed the shirt, so they had to iron it on or smth like that. Basically for the design, the front part has a light bulb, representing the word 'Recreation', in which we think of ideas, whereas the word 'Enterprise' is represented by the ice-cream. General design should be smth like this. Please tag on the tagboard on what colours you would prefer, as well as if you have any better ideas in your mind. (: Thanks.

Okay, probably I should type smth here after request from Zhou Yang. Sorry for not typing stuffs here for a long period of time, my apologies :X

Anyway, hope that all of you enjoyed yourselves today during the initiation camp, Sec 3s have spent a few weeks (from the week that examinations ended) to organise this camp. Though it was only a short time of like around 8 hours, but hope that all of you enjoyed it (:

As discussed during the previous MM, the RnE tee will be black in background, and the mouth and heart of Domo and the cherry will be red, the cone and domo will be brown. The 'Recreation and Enterprise' and the ice-cream will be white.

I will be changing the blogskin soon as well, probably changing it tmr. RnE shirt will be coming in 2 weeks time, if there happens to be any council events or stuffs like that, I will distribute them asap. Sorry for the delay; this was my 1st time ordering shirts, and there are quite a number of problems faced D: Hope that you all can understand yeah! :)

To Sec 2s, hope that all of you have scored good results, and choose the subject combi that you like (: Rmb to enjoy life now eh, things get way tougher when you get to Sec 3s -scares the Sec 2s xd- Jiayou yeah! After the holidays, you will be the main shots le, and soon you guys will be taking over as well, so jiayou yeah!

To Sec 1s, hope that you are enjoying yourselves in RnE as well, especially the times when you do duty, and interact with all the other RnE members as well (: soon, you will be seniors le, so conitnue to be enthusiastic for RnE and Council yeah! :D

To everyone, great job for maintaining the store in a good condition for Term 3 and 4 :D Continue to jiayou and keep the store in higher standards yeah! Great job for always coming punctual for morning meetings as well as other stuffs, though Sec 3s have to improve more on punctuality yeh. And of course, great job for always putting in the effort to stay back after school to do RnE store duty. Sometimes there might be heck loads of h/w and other stuffs to do, but can see that all of you put in the effort to go for store duty. good job yeah! :DD

Okay, RnE tee will most probably be something like this.

This will be the design for the front part of the shirt, the background colour of the shirt will be black in colour, the rest of the stuffs will only have outline for it. Means domo all these no colour.

This is the back part of the shirt, the colourful design that you see will only be white in colour cuz too many colours will heavily increase the price. The names will be embroided (something like being sewn) onto the sleeves of the shirt (: The cost price should not be more than $12. Is it alright with you guys? Please tag your opinions on the blog! hey ppl...investiture is like on de 16th sept...ok i juz realised tis btw...so ya i decided 2 rite sth 2 u ppl...juz kinda of dedication post bah...

hahax...one yr plus liao...ya time flies man...hope u ppl hav fun and really enjoy urself under us...ya it is juz kinda of sad tat de stall wasnt open at tat time tat we couldnt really wk 2gether in de stall 2gether but i tink it really doesnt matter abit...as in...we did bond and hav fun rite in other ways rite???...i hope so == all tose camps...and events like health week =X...and sum other stuffs...really brings back lotsa of gd memories...i really c tat u ppl luv RnE tat u ppl r willing 2 put in effort and time 2 come 4 all tis and to do yr bez...i c it and i really thank u ppl 4 making all tis happen...

now all tis finally come 2 an end...as mani of u ppl noe i wasnt frm RnE at first...ya kinda of come in by chance de la...but ya anyway i didnt regreted one bit but on de other hand im really greatful 2 be ur comm head...it was great...ok im serious de hor...4 de paz one yr+++ it had being a memorable experience 2 be wif u ppl and to really get tings done...i leant lotsa frm u guz and it was fruitful...

Hey RnE-ians! :D Yeah, so nearly all of you have already done duty for at least once. So how was it? For the juniors, is it fun working with the lovely seniors? xD Anyway, please just take note of the following stuffs that's gonna happen in the coming few days.

For the Secondary 3s, please remember to go to school next Saturday 1pm to prepare for the Investiture performance, though Investiture is gonna be 2 months away, but no harm preparing earlier :D

For the whole RnE including newcomers, RnE is making the doorgifts for Investiture, currently we are making beautiful and nice umbrellas, so if you guys are free and you believe that your Art is good, do help out ok? :D

And yeah, Healthweek is just coming up soon, the rough outline is still the same. We will be making announcements daily during the week, and hopefully, every fortnight after the healthweek, because Mr Tong (the teacher in charge of this) wants us to make Healthweek a continuous thing :) Yup. So, I'm gonna ask you all to stay back 1 day to brainstorm about Healthweek, we need ideas from you creative people xD]

OH AND BTW! There's gonna be a new duty roster, there will be 2 Sec 3s down for each day, and either 2 or 3 Sec 1s and 2s down for each day :D Yup, so hopefully the seniors will be able to help you improve during duties :D I am still making the duty roster, will notify you again when I've done it. Most probably by tonight. AND WE ARE GONNA OPEN ON FRIDAY TOO! :D

Okay guys, as you all know, the Investiture practice is postponed until further notice, but we have to continue with the Investiture preparation eh :)

Health week is coming soon, gonna prepare for it too. So meanwhile in your free time, please think about what we can do for Health week. Mr Tong wants it to be special, such that health week programmes will be a continuous thing throughout the year, instead of just a one-week thing.

Since RnE is a rather large committee (with about 26 ppl), I can't fit everyone to duty, so there's 2 options: 1. Sec 3s will do lesser duties. 2. We will not have a weekly duty, but a fortnightly duty list. So this way, I will be able to fit more people in, and all Sec 3s will be able to do duty. I am currently thinking of the 2nd option though :)

1 important news, RnE outing for Sec 2s-4s will be cancelled T.T :( :-( Cuz of the heavy load of Elearning (as seen on many people msn personal messages which include "ELEARNING IS SIAN" and "I HATE ELEARNING") etc, and with the projects that RnE are having now, I guess we might have to postpone RnE outing eh :(

hez guz finally i found sum time 2 update de blog...almost gonna be a mth since i lazs updated...ps im juz 2 lazy... :P

anyway tis tueday and thurday dere will be cheering 4 de badminton and basketball players 4 their zonal finals XD...badminton on tue and basketball on thursday...plez mak urself free on these daz...excuse letters will be given btw...

and ya monday after flag raising plez stay back 4 tose hu had ordered uniform...plez stay back 2 collect dem...and also 4 de sec 3s hu had ordered tiepins...pay 5 bucks 2 me...

22 dec: council farewell
ppl ples meet at 3pm outside ice cream stall to make de farewell door gift...tose ppl buying de farewell gifts 4 de sec 4 seniors ples remember 2 bring dem yup...de dress code will be comm tee and jeans or any long pants...u all come in ur own sku related tee so wen de comm tee come u all juz change in2 dem yup...de farewell will officially start at abt 7 15pm to 10 15pm...

29-30 dec: council bonding camp!!! XD
ples meet at abt 7 45am...de camp will end at about 8pm de next dae[is one i nid confirmed 1st...] ya ppl do come cuz it will be alot of fun...and is moz probably be de laz time tat council will be having an overnite camp...so really...do come...yup

all councillors 2 meet at concourse at 7.15am in respective attire for de sec1 regestration...

all sec1 councillors u guz r down wif de packing of files 4 de regestration on wed and thur...time is 12noon to 6pm...hav break...there r abt 400 files...so yup ppl if u r free or feeling bored ples coming and help out...we really nid de manpower...

oh ya btw we cant sell food on de regestration day cuz de sku dun allow...haiz...so yup is really 2 bad...

hez guz...sum gd news...ms lee told me tat de sku had approved de tiling contractors to tile up our stall le [finally]...so yup de tiling work will start moz likely a few daz b4 X'mas...de datz she will tell me again...

also on de 19 dec - sec1 regestration...we may be selling food items to de parents and de newcomers...tis one not confirm yet but i will try to get it done so as to let u guz hav sum hands on since de stall is yet to be open...yup tats all 4 now...
